My name is Katie. I'm 13 years old... much younger than most people here. I love photography and literature. I'm also a swimmer, and I hope to be an author when I grow up. I use a Sony a100 to take my photographs, and I feel that since joining DA my photography has improved. I hope that as time goes on I continue to improve.

"Love Is..." Conceptual Photography Cont

EDIT: I'm extending the end date until Valentines Day. Come on guys... enter! :heart:


I've decided that I want to hold a competition. The theme will be "What is Love?" AKA "Love Is..." If you want to judge, note me and tell me why I should let you help judge the entries. If I pick you as a judge you have to feature the winners and honorable mentions in your journal. If you want to donate a prize, I will love you forever, and you should note me. Prize can be anything from a subscription to a feature to a drawing or story. When you note tell me if you'll be giving the prize to the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place winners, everyone, or honorable mentions.




Rules;
- Only one (1) entry is allowed per person.
- Entries must be original photographs.
- No photomanips. It is okay to edit colors, blur, sharpen, or other post-processing edits.
- All entries must be sent to me VIA note by November 20th. If I have not received more than 29 deviations by this time I will cancel the contest.
- Entries must answer the question, "What is Love?"
- It is okay to have text on photographs.
- You must fave this news article: [link]
- Entries can be old or new. It doesn't matter.
- In the "Artist's Comments" section, you must state that the photograph has been entered in ~discord-and-rhyme's Conceptual Photography Contest and link to this journal.
- In "Artist's Comments" please say a bit about the picture. Just a sentence or two is fine.
